Dhaka: Bangladesh captain Mushfiqur Rahim won the toss and chose to bowl in the first one-day international against West Indies on Thursday.
West Indies made three changes from the team that lost the one-off Twenty-20 game by three wickets.
Captain Darren Sammy was left out due to illness, while Carlos Brathwaite and Anthony Martin were dropped, while Kemar Roach, Devendra Bishoo and Kieren Pollard came in.
Bangladesh, led by new captain Rahim, kept the team that won the Twenty-20 on Tuesday.
