NSW gunning for second CLT20 crown

New Delhi: New South Wales (NSW) will be aiming for their second Champions League Twenty 20 title in three years when the 2011 edition commences with the qualifying stage on September 19 in Hyderabad.
NSW who beat Trinidad and Tobago (T&T) in the finals of the 2009 event will be taking on the Cape Cobras on 24th September in a Pool A encounter.
Lee starred with both bat and ball in the finals of the inaugural edition when his team went to lift the trophy.
However NSW will go into the tournament with a good blend of experience and youth and will be one of the favourites to do well in the three week event.
Patrick Cummins will be one of the players to watch out for, while Josh Hazelwood will look to win back his selectors’ favour by getting some good performances under his belt.
Both, Phillip Hughes and Simon Katich will make the trip as well but there is a good chance David Warner and Shane Watson will open the innings for the side.
Another interesting addition to the squad is Stuart Clark who made it to the fifteen man party, despite having earlier expressed his reservations over his selection.
