Badrinath will replace Sachin Tendulkar in the remaining four ODI


Chester-le-Street: Tamil Nadu batsman S Badrinath will replace Sachin Tendulkar in the remaining four one day internationals (ODI) against England after the maestro was ruled out of the ongoing series because of his toe injury.
Earlier, India's nightmare tour of England continued as batting mastero Sachin Tendulkar on Monday was ruled out of the ODI series with a toe injury. He is the eighth player to be injured on the current tour following Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Yuvraj Singh, Zaheer Khan, Ishant Sharma and Rohit Sharma and Harbhajn Singh.
The veteran batsman, who captains Mumbai Indians, is also almost certain to miss the Champions League Twenty20 event to be held at four venues in the country from September 19 to October 9.
The batting maestro, who is just one short of completing the incredible milestone of 100 international centuries, will have to wait longer with this latest injury.
