SL toss win bowl against AUS in 3rd test match

Colombo: After a rain delay of half an hour, toss eventually took place in the third Test between Sri Lanka and Australia, where Lankan skipper Tillakaratne Dilshan called right and chose to bowl in overcast conditions.
An hour of play, however, was lost as the match could start only at 10:30 a.m. local time instead of the scheduled 9:30 a.m.
It will be a special day for former Sri Lanka skipper Kumar Sangakkara who will be making his 100th Test appearance for his country.
On team news, Sri Lanka dropped Thilan Samaraweera and brought in debutant Shaminda Eranga, Lahiru Thirimanne and spinner Rangana Herath.
Ricky Ponting, who returned after missing the 2nd Test when he flew back for the birth of his daughter, is back in the eleven at the expense of Usman Khawaja as Australia, leading 1-0, try to win the three-Test series. Also making a comeback will be Peter Siddel who comes in for injured Ryan Harris.
