Red hot Mumbai look to keep T&T on the mat

Bangalore: Brimming with confidence after their thrilling victory over defending champions Chennai Super Kings on Saturday, Mumbai Indians will look to maintain the winning momentum when they take on Trinidad & Tobago in their second Champions League T20 match here on Monday.
Man-of-the-match Lasith Malinga played a blinder to spare Mumbai's blushes as the Harbhajan-led side (in the absence of Sachin Tendulkar) looked second best to Chennai for most part of Saturday's contest.
Slinger Malinga took three Chennai wickets and hammered 37 off just 18 deliveries to take Mumbai home, along with Harbhajan, who contributed 19 runs.
So without a doubt T&T who are coming to the main event of the tournament after keeping a clean slate in the qualifying stage, will be wary of Malinga who starred with both bat and ball against Chennai.
Another player who can be troublesome for the Caribbean side could be Kieron Pollard, who decided to play for the Mumbai side despite being a regular member of T&T.
The trio of Ambati Rayudu, T Suman and R Sathish had a below-par outing in the last game and they too would like to make their mark against the exciting T&T outfit.
T&T have a rich mix of youth and experience. They have explosive openers in Lendl Simmons and Adrian Barath. Both have been in good nick of late.
The middle order consists of Daren Bravo, skipper Darren Ganga, his younger brother Sherwin.
Leading the pace bowling attack will be Ravi Rampaul who has the ability to pick up wickets with his slower variations.
The T&T side will also bank on their spinners Samuel Badree and Sunil Narine to complement their pace attack.
