We want to win the World Test Ch'ship: Broad

We want to win the World Test Ch'ship: Broad
London: Stuart Broad, who performed both with bat and ball in the Test series against India, has said that his side's long-term aim is to maintain the newly attained No 1 ranking and eventually win the World Test Championship in 2013.
"The World Test Championship is something we are aiming for," Broad was quoted as saying by the Daily Telegraph on Tuesday.

"The best chance of winning that is by being the best team in the world because, firstly, you are playing good cricket and, secondly, if you draw the final you will retain the championship," said Broad, who took 25 wickets including a hat-trick in the four-Test series and was adjudged the man of the series.
Broad was struggling for form before the India series with his place in the playing eleven in doubt for the first Test at Lord's. Broad said a visit to his home county Nottinghamshire worked in his favour.
"After Sri Lanka, I had to work out what type of bowler I wanted to be and what was the best way to take Test wickets."
"It (the visit) was more going back into the changing room and speaking to the likes of Andre Adams (bowler) and Mick Newell (county coach) and realising what I wanted to do," he said.
"It was the first time in my short career that I had been put under a huge amount of pressure and you do start asking questions of yourself."
"For the change in approach to succeed straightaway at Lord's, where I picked up four wickets, really showed me the way to go for the rest of the series," he added.
