Mumbai: Mike Horn, the Guest Motivational Speaker, has expressed his desire to help the depleted Team India.
Speaking from Cananda, the South Africa-born Horn said, he has been following the India-England series closely.
"Yes, I have been following the performance of the Indian team and very disappointed with the loss and number one Test ranking," he said.
Horn is eager to help the Indian team who are morally down. "The request has to come from the team management and I will be in England with next available flight," he said.
Horn shot into limelight for some crazy feats which included the 6,700-km descent of the Amazon by hydrospeed - solo and unassisted.
He gave motivational lectures to the Indian team before the last World Cup. "That was at the requests of Paddy Upton and Gary Kirsten. They are now with the South African team but my first choice is India rather than South Africa, because I got engaged with the Indian team first," Horn added.
Horn is still in touch with a few members of the Indian team. "It was a great time when we won the World Cup. Thereafter, we exchanged messages and shared ideas occasionally."
Horn is now the citizen of Switzerland. "After living in Switzerland for 25 years, I am being given the Swiss passport. That's a great thing to happen."
When asked what would be his immediate message to the team? "Get your basics right and concentrate more on the game," Horn felt.
