England can dominate like Man Utd: Broad

England can dominate like Man Utd: Broad
London: After completing a 4-0 series whitewash over India, Stuart Broad feels newly-crowned Test champions England can now aim to dominate the cricket world just like English Premier League champions, Manchester United.
England dominated the visitors throughout the series, concluding with an innings-and-8-run victory in the final match at the Oval. Andrew Strauss's men are now unbeaten in their last nine Test series, and England have not tasted a series defeat at home since 2008 - against South Africa.

"We want this to be the start of the legacy we aim to create," said Broad in his column for the Daily Mail. "We want to be successful for a long time, like Man United have been, for one example."
"Wouldn’t it be lovely if, in 20 years, people talked about us and looked back fondly on what we had achieved? It’s the target for us all."
Broad himself was a stand-out performer for the hosts, picking up 25 wickets at an average of 13.84 and contributing with 182 runs as well.
"We sat down at Lord’s as a bowling unit ahead of the series to talk about the best plans of attack for each of the India batsmen and those plans have been executed perfectly. Only Rahul Dravid has got on top of us," revealed the right-arm fast bowler.
"From my point of view, I have never bowled more consistently over a sustained period."
Looking ahead, Broad added, "A lot of hard work has gone into this series. We were told to enjoy the moment before coming back strong in a few days for the one-day matches."
