England Unchanged For Second India Test;
James Anderson, who took five wickets to bowl India out at Lord's, is likely to feature again at Trent Bridge after England named an unchanged squad
The announcement comes just hours after they moved into a 1-0 lead in the four-match series with an impressive 196-run win in the first game at Lord's.
Yorkshire's Tim Bresnan is added to the team that beat India with an assured all-round performance that saw them recover from 62 for five in their second innings to put the game beyond the tourists.
"There was a lot to be pleased about from the opening Test at Lord's," national selector Geoff Miller said.
"We saw some excellent performances with both bat and ball which resulted in an outstanding win on the final day of what was a memorable match.
"While the squad from the first npower Test all came through unscathed we have included Tim Bresnan in the squad for this next Test and he'll once again be pushing for selection following a short turnaround in between Test matches."
England Test squad: Andrew Strauss (captain), James Anderson, Ian Bell, Tim Bresnan, Stuart Broad, Alastair Cook, Eoin Morgan, Kevin Pietersen, Matthew Prior, Graeme Swann, Chris Tremlett, Jonathan Trott
