Harare: Zimbabwe will have a last chance to salvage some pride in the three match one day series against Pakistan and the final ODI is their last chance to do so before the Twenty20s start. After being outplayed in the second ODI, Zimbabwe will be hoping to at least give visitors some fight and get a consolation win.
Zimbabwe surely has skill but what they are lacking is self confidence. They gained belief from the Bangladesh series, that good work is now on the verge of being undone. On a good batting surface, they will have to apply themselves in and will have to score rate at brisk pace.
For Pakistan, Mohammad Hafeez has underlined his role as a premier all-rounder but other members of the squad will also want to use the opportunity to make an impression. Surely Pakistan will try their fringe members in this match and it will be up to the them to capitalise on the chances.
Squads:
Zimbabwe: Vusi Sibanda, Chamu Chibhabha, Hamilton Masakadza, Brendan Taylor (capt), Tatenda Taibu (wk), Craig Ervine, Forster Mutizwa, Regis Chakabva, Elton Chigumbura, Ray Price, Brian Vitori, Kyle Jarvis, Chris Mpofu
Pakistan: Mohammad Hafeez, Imran Farhat, Rameez Raja, Younis Khan, Misbah-ul-Haq (capt), Shoaib Malik, Umar Akmal, Adnan Akmal, Sohail Tanvir, Saeed Ajmal, Junaid Khan, Sohail Khan, Aizaz Cheema
