Bresnan, Morgan, Tremlett get central contracts

London: Eoin Morgan, Tim Bresnan and Chris Tremlett have been rewarded for their exploits in series wins over Sri Lanka and India this summer by being awarded central contracts for the first time by England.
However, all-rounder Paul Collingwood, who has retired from Test cricket, hasn't had his 12-month contract renewed as he is no longer eligible.
A limited-overs specialist, Morgan established himself at No. 6 in England's Test batting lineup and played in all seven matches in the five-day format this summer, scoring a century and passing 50 three times.
Tremlett carried his Ashes form of the winter into the three Sri Lanka Tests before getting injured in the first Test against India. He was replaced by fellow paceman Bresnan, who claimed 16 wickets in the final three Tests.
